Newfoundland Canada icebergs...

Another super, super fun ride with my dear friend Arlene Batishill of GoGoGear to Newfoundland Canada.  For nine days, we laughed like two little girls enjoying every moment of the ride.  I cannot remember when I laughed that much.  We encountered wild life, ferry rides, spectacular shore line rides that will forever be embedded in my mind as the best riding roads in the world and most of all, the experience of holding an iceberg.  Arlene and I are like two peas in a pod, we can ride well and have the most fun anyone could have.  Just laugh!!!!

Our goal was to see the icebergs, the island provided them, plus more with wildlife that is in abundant on this island.  I have never seen a moose in my life.  While we were riding on the TCH, we saw one trying to get over the tall fence into the highway.  Yes, they have these huge fences along the highways to hold them back.  We also stopped in a bay area and this wonderful whale came by to greet us.  That was an experience that words cannot describe.  As of writing this post July 24, 2013, I am still under the influence of the pure adrenalin rush of getting so close to an iceberg (in my lifetime).  I held one and licked it!!!  Yeah, I will not share that photo with you, bummer for you.  LOL!!!

We rode up the Viking Trail, hopped on this tiny 22 foot boat to get within feet of the iceberg.  All those photos you see are real, the iceberg is blue from the reflection of the ocean.  On this day, it was raining, we did not care, we got soaked but we had to see our iceberg. The captain could not stop laughing enjoying how these two silly American girls were at awe with the iceberg experience laughing like two silly funny girls.  Well, enough talk, just enjoy some of the photos for now.......
