First day, leaving my house in the rain. Traveling NY thruway and a few hundred miles into the ride a couple of guys wanted to talk. Hey, guys, love you but when I have another 400+ miles ahead of me, I prefer a shorter story. They are so cool though, it is as though they have just met a celebrity passing by and they cannot get enough. They would not stop talking.
I ride into beautiful Toronto , Canada. Wow, stunning city and so clean. My Twitter friend @Cecilialourenco http://www.i-want-to-ride.com/ awaits me as she hosted me for two days. How lucky am I and such an honor to meet her, thank you so much Cecilia for your awesome hospitality.
That evening, we walk down Toronto beautiful street where the houses are tightly woven as each owner displays their small front lawn with terrific plants and flowers. We walk to a very nice restaurant to meet @YouMotorcycle http://www.youmotorcycle.com/ whose is having a big birthday. Totally cool, here is a young man with a big birthday and he decides to spend his evening with us. That shows how amazing my friends are. He could have been with his friends celebrating the big day, instead, he comes to meet me. We had such a wonderful time as they showed me downtown Toronto with the nice boutiques, shops, street train cars, people just loving the nice hot summer evening out and about, everyone riding a bicycle in town and so much more. Next thing you know with Cecilia, Adrian we notice that the birds are chirping and the sun is coming out, we need to get some rest! For me, I had been up 24 hours straight, rode my motorcycle 550 miles/885 kilometers and boy was I tired but so worth it. My Canadian friends are truly amazing people, love them.
