2016

All of my rides are self funded. I am a teacher on a tight budget. If you enjoy and follow my rides, a contribution would help pay for a night at a campsite or a tank of fuel. Your contribution is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity. Clicking on the fuel button will point you to my Paypal account, OR you can send me an email at: missrider26@gmail.com

Wolfman Luggage contributed a small tank bag for my bike.  I had purchased the tank panniers and they are incredible too.

Twisted Throttle provided a 10% discount towards the purchase of Denali DM Micro lights, Admore Lighting rear light, Barkbusters Handguards and Universal mounting brackets.

Hilleberg The Tentmaker provided a significant discount for a Staika Niak.  It will be my new home during when I use my Yamaha XT250.  This tent is also going to travel with me everywhere as part of my world tour.  I feel so wonderful about Hilleberg and their support that I wrote a blog post.  I entitled it, "Hilleberg Staika Tent Experience".

On the way home from my Alaska tour (summer of 2015) I made it a point to stop in Boise Idaho and check out the panniers for my Yamaha XT250 motorcycle at Happy-Trail.com.  I was warmly welcomed by the guys at the counter with great interest in seeing a Triumph Bonneville fitted for the long haul.  Shortly after that, Tim Bernard came out to see my bike with a wonderful persona.  He devoted a great deal of time talking with me about my future plans to ride around the world.  He offered to help and has kept his word with a generous discount on all the equipment needed for a such a challenging adventure.  In addition, he called his friends to host me at their camp ground.  I am so happy I stopped to meet them, they run a family shop with an outstanding crew.

During the winter of 2016 a dear friend told me about this man that was doing a world tour on a Yamaha XT250 (same as mine)  I contacted Pat Williams and he has been the most invaluable resource of knowledge advising me how to prepare my bike.  I even wrote a few blogs sharing what he shared with me to help other adventure riders prepare their bike.  I cannot thank him enough for the priceless help he continues to provide.  I hope to somehow meet him in the future to personally thank him.  He recently shipped an Eibach 400 pound spring to upgrade the suspension on my bike.  He is my guardian angel, thank you Pat.  This is the link to his website: http://www.2ridetheglobe.com
